What is alternative fulfillment?

Alternative fulfillment is one way for employers with more than 25 employees to meet the obligation to employ persons with disabilities (at least 4% of the total number of employees). This obligation is enshrined in Section 81 of Act No. 435/2004 Coll., on Employment, as amended. Since January 1, 2012, there have been significant changes in the way alternative fulfillment is provided, with the biggest change being the introduction of a limit on alternative fulfillment amounting to 36 times the average wage in the national economy for the first to third quarters of the preceding calendar year for each disabled employee included in the supplier's adjusted workforce.
